Recipe for Success - Tips to Look and Feel Great
I'm Just Like You - Meet Our Founder

Recipe for Success

Put your chef hat on, tie your apron, and get ready to create a tasty feast.  This "recipe for success" is guaranteed to nourish your mind, body and soul.  Dig in!

Lifestyle change is the key

If you seriously incorporate these changes into your lifestyle, over time, your attitude, perception and overall existence will dramatically change for the better.

Positive changes won’t happen overnight, but will occur with persistence and effort. Eventually, you’ll feel, do and accomplish things you never thought possible.

Positive thinking

RUSH to the bookstore to purchase a copy of “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale. Why? Because it will demonstrate how you can achieve happiness, serenity, strength and courage. You want that, right?

If you study and apply the book’s contents, over time, your life will dramatically change for the better. (For a testimonial, click on “I'm Just Like You”)

Talk about your feelings

Talk about your feelings to a trusted friend, relative, pastor, etc. This is vital. It may be difficult to discuss your pain, but it will make you feel much better and begin your journey to recovery.

If you try to ignore your painful feelings, they will only come back to haunt you later in life. They won’t go away unless dealt with now.

If you feel you need further help with your emotions, call these free hotline numbers.

Be courageous, strong, and talk about your feelings. You’ll be thankful you did.

Exercise

If not already exercising, start immediately! Why? You want to feel great and look great, don’t you? Of course you do.

Exercise will greatly help you handle your burdens. This is because exercise emits endorphins, a “feel-good” hormone.

Exercise helps relieve:

  • Stress
  • Depression and anger
  • and makes your mind sharp and alert

Any exercise is worthwhile, so incorporate the types of activities you enjoy, whether weight-lifting, swimming, boxing, Pilates, yoga, dancing, karate, etc.

Don’t take your health for granted. Good health is a precious gift to be treasured and maintained.

If a beginning exerciser, please seek a professional for guidance and advice.

Nutrition

Lastly, watch your diet. Yes, nutrition is important and vital. Without proper diet, your exercise program won’t yield its best results.

Remember, you are what you eat, so please educate yourself on proper eating habits, learn to count calories, and watch your portion size and fat intake.

Words of Inspiration for Orphans

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.
-- Mark Twain
